This policy explains what information Pineyourapples handles, why, and what control you have. It covers this website (pineyourapples.com), email you send us, and PYA Publisher, our internal publishing and analytics tool. Pineyourapples is an independent digital media project based in Australia. Contact: hello@pineyourapples.com.
Summary
- This website has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
- PYA Publisher is used only by the owner of Pineyourapples, for the Pineyourapples accounts. It does not collect information about viewers or anyone else.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
1. This website
The website is a set of static pages. We do not set cookies, use analytics, embed third-party trackers or collect information through forms. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver and secure the pages. That processing is governed by the hosting provider's own privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify or track visitors.
2. Email
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to act on your request, such as a correction or a data request. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose, and we delete it on request.
3. PYA Publisher (our internal tool)
PYA Publisher is software that runs on the Pineyourapples owner's own computer. It is not a public app: the only person who signs in to it is the owner, and the only accounts it connects to are the Pineyourapples accounts on the platforms below. It connects through each platform's official API, with the owner's explicit authorisation.
3.1 What it accesses and why

The analytics it reads are aggregate numbers about our own posts. PYA Publisher does not read private messages. It does not collect the names, profiles or any other personal information of people who watch, like or comment on our videos, and it does not access any account other than our own.
3.2 Storage and security
Access credentials (sign-in tokens) and the performance numbers are stored only on the owner's computer. The credentials are never shared and are sent only to the platform they belong to. Nothing is stored on this website.
3.3 Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade or share data obtained through PYA Publisher. We do not transfer it to any third party, including advertising networks, data brokers or artificial-intelligence service providers. We do not use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
3.4 Retention and deletion
We keep performance numbers for as long as we need them to understand how our own videos perform. If authorisation for a platform is revoked, we stop accessing it and delete the data obtained from that platform within 30 days, except published-video identifiers we need for our own records.
4. Google and YouTube API Services
PYA Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using it, the account owner is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Pineyourapples' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
5. Meta and TikTok
Use of Instagram and Facebook is also governed by Meta's terms and Meta Privacy Policy. Access can be removed in Facebook settings under Apps and websites (and Business Integrations for Pages), or in Instagram under Settings › Apps and websites. Our TikTok account is governed by TikTok's terms and TikTok Privacy Policy; PYA Publisher has no TikTok access.
6. Your choices and data deletion requests
We hold no personal information about viewers. If you have emailed us and want your correspondence deleted, or you have any question about your data, email hello@pineyourapples.com with the subject "Data request". We will reply within 30 days. To delete data obtained through a platform connection, revoke access as described above and tell us; we will confirm deletion.
7. Children
Our content is general-audience and not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
If our practices change, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
